Jennifer Jackson Photography is a boutique wedding + fine art photography studio based in Chicago and available for travel worldwide. Jennifer began her pursuit of photography at the age of thirteen when she began documenting the world around her on her mother’s 35mm film camera. Almost three decades later, Jennifer still finds a camera (either film or digital) in her hand every single day. Jennifer's love for fine art photography and the traditional aesthetics of film photography is evident in her work and translates to her digital photography effortlessly.

Having a background in design and architecture, Jennifer composes imagery that incorporates all of the elements of her environment into each frame in order to create cinematic, frame-worthy photographs. She holds multiple degrees in photography and enjoys sculpting with available light and lighting she incorporates into the scene. Although she mainly photographs digital weddings she is still sought after to shoot exclusively film weddings or hybrid [digital and film] weddings too.

Jennifer values the vision you create for your wedding day and is dedicated to retelling your unique story. From the first time you meet her, it is apparent that she loves what she does and has a breadth of knowledge and excitement for her art. On your wedding day you get her. Jennifer has a warmth to her that puts even the most camera shy at ease; she is patient, organized, artistic, and fun to be around.
